Camille

Camille is a master's student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Prior to her graduate studies, Camille gained professional experience working as a clinical diagnostic lab technologist, analytical chemist, and QC chemist, where she developed skills in laboratory analysis and quality assurance within both clinical and industrial settings. Her current research focuses on the development of portable biosensors using cell-free systems for point-of-need testing. Outside of her academic work, Camille enjoys video and board games, sporting events, escape rooms, reading, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
